It's been a long long time since my last update. Sad to say that hand-made things are no longer in the trend now. I have stop doing jewellery ever since. Only make for my own wear when I am inspired.
The above picture was my last design for sale then. But I had given this away as a gift to my friend from oversea.
Was thinking to revise my blog again, but not on hand-made jewellery. Probably will be more like a random update of various things. Will see how it goes.
Before I end, I am letting go some of my hand-made jewellery with price slashes. It has been kept in a box. Items still looking fine. Am not earning anything from all these. So, please don't slash anymore. Price will include normal postage. Email me if you are interested. Till then...

Missing impossible!!!

Back from Shanghai, really a nice place to visit, especially sight-seeing. Pictures taken from Hangzhou and Suzhou. Shopping in Shanghai is expensive, unlike Hong Kong. Only bought their organic 'green tea' and their famous '100% silk' blankets and pillows.

I'll probably plan a flea next month, do look out for that. As this month is a school holidays, my children and I will go to KL to accompany their dad who is station there. Any orders for this week will still be able to post out, I'm out on Saturday night.

A nice piece for today. I realllly love this piece, is bold yet elegant. I always love earrings to be a little chunky, long or kind of character. This piece is one off kind again, and no remakes.

Materials used : Imported polymer clay pillow from Canada, mixture of faux textured pearls, cat-eye round beads, Swarovski crystals, Japan clay flower, and personally bought the white acrylic stone-like pendant during my KL trip.

Please note that this is a long necklace and 2 ways of wearing, you can wear it short (as shown in the pic.) and it'll fall nicely on your chest.

Antiqued gold chain and wire used is non-tarnish.

Reflection, PYNK36 - $ 42

Reflection can be worn in 2-ways by shifting the toggle pin up or down. When shifting down to lower toggle, it is about 54.5cm all round, whereas if you shift the pin up to secure on the upper ring, it is about 63.5cm all round. So you can play around to suit your outfit.

Materials are mostly imported from US, like the Czech beads, rose-gold butterfly charm. It include one of my wire-wrapped pendant as a focal which consist Czech flower, teardrops and Swarovski crystals, etc...

My projects are conceived with Genuine Swarovski crystal beads, Imported Czech glass beads, Imported semi-precious stones, Imported various charms, Imported various clasps and toggles, using non-tarnish artistic wire, 14k gold-plated; high quality gold-plated, antiqued gold, gunmetal, black matt, and Rhodium plated chain.

As I do wish my friends from Pyxis. BeadzExotic who purchased my jewellery to have their blings last longer, but sad to say that it is quite impossible to retain your blings as new as before because of our Singapore's climate. But, if you do follow my 'Care of Bling', it does help.

I'm trying my very best to find high quality chain to substitute the problems and provide the information of what I got from the suppliers. As I do not like to bluff my way up, (especially in this field), to say that my so and what blings are made of 14k gold-plated for example, and in fact, it is just a normal gold-plated. (14k gold plated is much more lasting than just gold-plated with proper care) I want a long-term business and so I have to be honest here.

The idea of enclosing the blue evil eye glass bead in the 'cage' came from the idea of chinese traditional amulet that place the yellow paper inside a red packet. It means to protect the person away from evil and bad luck. So as to say, hope this "Good Luck charm" may bring good luck to you as well.

(Little thoughts from me):

How to care for my Bling things?

This applies to all your bling blings, and not just Pyxis BeadzExotic items:

- Treat with care, avoid contact with chemicals & perfume
-Avoid wearing to swimming, bathing and exercising. as chlorine, soaps and perspiration can damage the piece
- Wipe with a clean cotton cloth after each use. It is vital to remove sweat an other moisture as this can tarnish your piece
- Put on jewellery last (ie. after doing your makeup and putting on perfume)
- All purchase comes with a storage bag to keep your pieces. Please keep that as it is meant to protect and organise your pieces
- Protect long necklaces and lariats (usually without clasp) from tangling by wrapping them on the card included in your storage bag. Never dump them in a heap, as they'll tangle.
- Store necklaces flat

Eternity is one of a kind with 'Multi-adaptation' necklace that I love so much because it is versatile in its way. From the picture, you can see the several ways that I can create from 'Eternity'- you can wear as a necklace in as least 4 different ways (there are other way you can try around), as a waist decoration- 'belt', and it can also wrap around your wrist as a bracelet.
The materials that I used are mixture of blue simulated stone and pebbles, imported Czech beads in aqua color; bead horn black ring, bead bone light craw. butterfly charms, and Swarovski Crystal.

Some updates to let everyone know. In future, all necklaces will be kept in a jewelry box before I send them out via 'Registered Mail' without extra cost. Usually my necklaces are quite long or chunky, therefore, I'm worry it will tangle during the posting. As for earring and bracelet, it remains as a storage bag before I bubble wrapped and send via 'Registered Mail'.
